What the inspector said “Glebe Leisure is a peaceful small park in good countryside location just a few miles from Bicester and the the M40, making an ideal overnight stopover. It is also very popular with fishing enthusiasts due to the well-stocked fishing lake, and with keen shoppers wishing to spend a weekend at the Bicester Shopping Village, 3 miles away. I enjoyed meeting Robert and looking round the park and found the fishing lakes and surrounding paths very attractive, all very peaceful. The toilets in main building, opposite the park reception office, were very clean and tidy, with good fixtures & fittings and very much up to 3 Pennant standard, but I found the overflow portacabin facilties to be tired and need of attention, as was the immediate area about the cabin, which could be tidier. However, Robert informs that he plans to upgrade them soon, as is evidenced with the new and excellent lit decking already in place around the toilet cabin. The two fields looked well tended and maintained and the new hard standings, an essential requirement early/late season, have proved very popular, and it was good to see the addition of 3 camping pods, all well placed in the top field. The motorhome service point, which was nearing completion, was looking good.
